How To Set Up Your Giant Beaver
Keeping the ranking reference cards to one side, shuffle the deck and deal 10 cards to each player. Put any remaining cards away.
A bird always starts the game! Check the cards in your hand. If you have a bird, be the first to call, “Birds out” and lay your card in the centre of the table to start the game.
Know The Hierarchy Of The Cards
Play continues clockwise with players laying a card from the same animal set and announcing what the card is. “Look at my Hairy Birds!”
If you don’t have a card from the same animal set, then you must announce which Beast you don’t have and shout out loud and proud which card you are going to play instead.
Watch Out For The Sweaty Animals
The highest rank boast wins the round unless someone reveals any Beaver or a Tiny Donkey card. These trump all other cards.
Watch out for the Sweaty cards, if these are played the points are wiped out for this round! The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!
